Comments, Members and Moderation

Readers can comment on any post that allows it. With moderation on, a new comment waits in the Desk until an editor approves it. Readers who subscribe become members, confirmed by e-mail, and can be labelled for segmentation.
Approving a comment
Open Comments in the Desk. Pending comments are listed first; approve, reject or delete each one. A spam filter scores every comment before it reaches the queue, looking at link density, repeated submissions and known patterns, and the comment form carries a signed token so a bot cannot post without loading the page.
Members
A visitor who enters an e-mail address on the subscribe form becomes a pending member and receives a confirmation link. Confirmed members receive newsletters; labels group them (the demo has early-access and customer). Members can be exported as CSV and unsubscribe with one click.
